He said, "Successful completion of our first standalone Extra High Voltage BESS asset emphasizes our commitment to sustainable infrastructure investment in Japan. Brawn will continue to develop our additional 1GW pipeline of Extra High Voltage and High Voltage assets throughout Japan, for commercial operations between 2026 and 2030." That's a whole lotta watts, baby!

Megapack 2XL: The Global MVP

They started building this project in April 2024, and the choice of Tesla's Megapack 2XL was a no-brainer. This bad boy is becoming the MVP for grid-scale storage worldwide. Why? Compact design, quick deployment, and it can play in all kinds of energy markets. Helios is a "fully merchant project," meaning it'll be bidding into Japan's wholesale electricity market, providing balancing and capacity services. With Japan leaning heavy into renewables, especially in places like Hokkaido, these flexible storage assets are more in demand than front-row tickets to my next show!

Brawn ain't playin' either; they've already got over 300 renewable and storage assets across Asia-Pacific.
